Kilkerran 12 Year Old is a lightly peated Campbeltown single malt, bottled in 2018 at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured in a mix of 70% Bourbon and 30% Sherry casks.
The nose brings sweet confectionery, with Turkish delight, pear drops and marzipan, over faint peat smoke. The palate is zesty with lemon cheesecake and has an oily texture, then turns to peat smoke, leather, pepper and sticky toffee pudding. The finish carries campfire embers, pecan pie and butterscotch.
