Hazelburn 8 Year Old Sherry Cask 2025 is an unpeated, triple distilled single malt from the Springbank distillery in Campbeltown, in a 70cl bottle at 48.2% ABV.
The whisky matured entirely in first-fill sherry casks, which gives it an intense aromatic depth.
The nose is rich with dried figs, currants, dark chocolate and toasted wood, with a hint of cinnamon and old leather. The palate is warm and creamy, with prunes, burnt caramel, walnuts, clove and mocha. The finish is long, of spiced sherry, dried fruit and a subtle tannic edge.
