This is a 10-year-old Springbank made from bere barley grown at the Aros farm on the Kintyre peninsula, the same peninsula as the distillery. The Local Barley name comes from the barley always being sourced from a farm close to Springbank.
The spirit matured entirely in bourbon casks and was bottled in December 2021 at a cask strength of 51.6% ABV. The release comprises 15000 bottles, in a 70cl bottle.
