This is a hand-filled single cask Kilkerran, the Campbeltown single malt made at Glengyle distillery. It was matured in a fresh bourbon cask and bottled at cask strength, 58.5% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
Kilkerran is made from the same spirit as Springbank, in a heavier peated version. This bottling is described as a punchier dram, in the vein of Ardbeg, Ardnahoe, Caol Ila and Springbank.
