King Robert II Treble Cask Matured is a blended Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in three different types of oak cask, an approach aimed at bringing out the character of the grain and malt whiskies in the blend.
The nose offers dried stone fruit, vanilla bean and a little toasted almond. The palate has a smooth, rounded entry, with sweet toffee, ripe orchard fruit and gentle spice over a background of oak, at medium body. The finish is clean and persistent, with gentle warmth and a refined sweetness.
