King's Inch Glasgow is a Lowland single malt and the first bottling from King's Inch. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV and is non-chill filtered. The name nods to the old imperial measurement of an inch and to a forgotten island in the Clyde.
It was made with West Coast malt and water drawn from Loch Katrine, then matured in hand-selected Bourbon and Oloroso casks.
The nose offers green apple, barley, vanilla and caramelised sugar. On the palate come citrus, pineapple, espresso, molasses and chocolate powder. The finish is long and warming, with buttered toffee, black pepper, clove, cinnamon and ginger.
