This is the Raw Edition from KinGlassie, a 2017 single malt made in Glenrothes, Fife, in the Lowlands. It is bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle.
The distillery was founded by Ian Palmer and began production in December 2015. It aims to bring out as much flavour as possible in the spirit. A mash filter press replaces the usual mash tun to give a higher sugar concentration in the wort, and double condensers behind the stills mean extra copper contact. Wood management also plays its part in the character of the whisky.
