Kingsbarns – Balcomie (70cl, 46%)

Balcomie is a single malt Scotch whisky from Kingsbarns, a Lowland distillery that calls itself the Spirit of the Kingdom of Fife. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. Kingsbarns uses only local barley grown in Fife, and the distillery is owned and run by the Wemyss family. A slow fermentation and a long distillation are used to produce a clean, complex spirit, and the whisky is matured in oak casks from around the world.
