Dream to Dram is the first release from Kingsbarns, a Lowland single malt bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. This limited release combines whisky matured in first fill bourbon casks with whisky matured in first fill STR Portuguese red wine barriques, in a ratio of about 90 to 10.
It has won World's Best Lowland Single Malt at the World Whiskies Awards in both 2020 and 2022.
The nose is slightly tart, with banana, pineapple and summer berries and a light herbal touch. The palate offers soft cream caramel, sponge cake cream and ripe redcurrants, and the finish turns to a spicy ginger note.
