Kingsbarns – Bell Rock Cask Strength (70cl, 61.1%)

This is a cask strength release of Kingsbarns Bell Rock, a Lowland single malt bottled at 61.1% abv in a 70cl bottle. The first Bell Rock was bottled at 46% and released in 2021. This edition is limited to 3600 bottles. The whisky is made from locally grown Fife barley and matured in a vatting of 30% ex-bourbon and 70% ex-Oloroso sherry casks. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The nose is rich and velvety, with caramel, baked meringue and toasted almonds. On the palate come pecan pie, caramelised orchard fruit and fresh pastry. The finish brings caramel sauce and crème brûlée.
