Kingsbarns – Bell Rock Cask Strength (70cl, 61.1%)

Kingsbarns Bell Rock Cask Strength is a limited single malt from the Lowlands, bottled at 61.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is distilled from local Fife barley and is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The whisky was matured in a mix of 30% ex-bourbon casks and 70% ex-Oloroso sherry butts, which give it a fruity, spicy character. The nose is rich, velvety toffee with baked meringue and toasted almonds. On the palate come pecan pie, caramelised orchard fruits and fresh pastries, and the finish brings caramel sauce and crème brûlée.
