Kingsbarns Falkland is a limited-release Lowland single malt from Kingsbarns Distillery in Fife, in a 70cl bottle. The barley was grown within six miles of the distillery.
The whisky was matured in first-fill ex-Bourbon casks and in STR casks, which are shaved, toasted and re-charred ex-Portuguese red wine casks. The casks were hand selected for balance, and this expression has a slightly greater share of STR influence.
It is described as a sweet, fruity malt with berry sweetness and subtle warming spices.
