Kininvie – 1996 17 Year Old Batch No. 002 is a single malt whisky from Kininvie (Speyside). Aged 17 years, bottled at 42.6% ABV, 35cl. Matured in hogsheads & sherry butts. A William Grant & Sons malt distillery on their Dufftown estate in Speyside. It was opened in 1990 to ease pressure on Glenfiddich and Balvenie to provide fillings for its Grant's blends and is a key component in the Monkey Shoulder recipe. It is also home to the Kininvie Works innovation arm.
