This is a 27-year-old single grain whisky from Kirin's Fuji Gotemba distillery, which sits at the foot of Mt. Fuji, Japan's sacred mountain. The name Fuji Sanroku translates as 'at the foot of Mt. Fuji'. Kirin is a major maker of soft drinks and alcoholic beverages in Japan. It is not a whisky specialist, but it does take part in the whisky market.
