Kirin Fuji Single Grain 30 Year Old is a Japanese grain whisky from Fuji Gotemba Distillery, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. Master Blender Jota Tanaka selected it from some of the distillery's oldest grain whisky and has signed the bottle. The release centres on mature Canadian-style grain whisky, with some components up to 40 years old. It was awarded World's Best Grain Whisky at the 2020 World Whiskies Awards. The nose is nutty brown sugar syrup with ripe and dried fruits. The palate is soft, opulent and concentrated, with honeyed sweetness and bitter chocolate. The finish lingers, with delicate wood spice, fruit and honey.
