Kirin Fuji Single Grain Japanese Whisky (70cl, 46%)

A single grain Japanese whisky from Fuji Gotemba Distillery, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It brings together several grain whisky styles made at the distillery, which uses different still configurations to create grain whiskies influenced by American, Canadian and Scotch traditions. Master Blender Jota Tanaka combines these components. The nose offers ground hazelnut, black tea, chestnut flour, baking spices, orchard fruit, citrus zest and elderflower. On the palate come orchard fruit, orange, pepper and chicory with wood spices, and the finish is nutty, with cinnamon and oak.
