Kirin Riku is a Japanese blended whisky from the Fuji Gotemba Distillery in Shizuoka, in a 50cl bottle at 50% ABV. It is not chill filtered. The blend is built mainly from malt and grain whiskies made at the distillery, with a small proportion of selected international whisky added. It has a light mouthfeel and can be taken neat, over ice or as a highball. The nose is delicately sweet, with yellow peach, orange and apple. The palate is clean and multi-layered, and the finish is soft and long, with fruity and deep, matured notes.
