Knappogue Castle 12 Years is an Irish single malt whiskey, matured in bourbon barrels. The spirit was made at the Cooley Distillery and bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is fresh and spicy, with grain, malt, vanilla and freshly ground pepper. On the palate it stays fresh and lively, with vanilla, oak, young fruit, mint and grassy notes.
The finish is soft, with almond and orange.
