A bourbon from the Jim Beam distillery, bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof). It is named after the creek that runs through the boyhood land of Abraham Lincoln.
The mash bill uses corn, rye and barley, and the whiskey is aged in new oak barrels.
The nose is mostly vanilla and caramel, with a subtle hint of oak. The palate is deep and robust, with caramelised sugar, toasted oak and a touch of spice. The finish is long and warming, with a light hint of smoke.
