Knockdhu – 18 Year Old (Bourbon Barrel) (70cl, 53.8%)

This is an 18 year old Knockdhu, a peated single malt from the Speyside distillery, bottled by Claxton's for its Warehouse No. 1 series. It matured in an ex-bourbon barrel and was bottled at a cask strength of 53.8%. The whisky is neither chill-filtered nor coloured, so it is just as it came from the cask at bottling. Knockdhu makes both peated and unpeated spirit, and this bottling comes from the peated side of the distillery.
