This is a 1974 Knockdhu bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in its Connoisseurs Choice range. It is a Speyside single malt, distilled in 1974 and bottled in the early 1990s, in a 75cl bottle at 40% ABV. Knockdhu was built in 1893 next to the village of Knock, just outside Keith. It remains a two-still distillery, with wooden washbacks and worm tubs to condense the spirit.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
