A single cask Knockdhu, sold under the anCnoc name, distilled in 1991 and aged for 8 years. It was bottled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society as cask 115.4, at 57.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The cask was a bourbon one, and it yielded 324 bottles.
In the Society's numbering, the first number identifies the distillery and the second the cask. The Society was founded in Edinburgh in 1983 by Phillip 'Pip' Hills.
Knockdhu is a two-still distillery on the Speyside side of the map, with wooden washbacks and worm tubs for condensing.
