Kornog En E Bezh 18 BC is a peated French single malt from the Glann ar Mor distillery in Brittany. It is a limited edition of 187 bottles, here in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured for 10 years in a Bourbon cask and bottled in 2018 at a natural-strength 58.9% ABV.
The nose combines peat and maritime smoke with heather honey, vanilla, citrus peel and toffee. The palate is rich and powerful, with warm peat smoke, dried figs, raisins, roasted nuts and pepper. The finish is long and warming, with peat, oak spice, citrus and a slightly herbal note.
