Kornog Oloroso is a peated French single malt made at Glann ar Mor in Brittany by Celtic Whisky Compagnie. The 2014 release was matured in a single first-fill Oloroso sherry cask and bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Production was limited to 837 bottles.
The nose is peat smoke, dried fruit, raisins and toasted nuts, with gentle maritime notes. The palate is rich and smoky, with sherried fruit, malt, spice, oak and nutty sweetness. The finish is long and warming, with lingering peat smoke, dried fruit and spice.
