Taol Esa Teir Gwech is a French single malt produced by the Glann ar Mor distillery in Brittany and released by Celtic Whisky Compagnie. Teir Gwech means "third time", and this is the 2019 bottling, in a 50cl bottle at 46% ABV.
It was matured in Bourbon casks, and sits in the Glann ar Mor range rather than the peated Kornog range.
The nose is fresh malt with vanilla, honey, citrus and light orchard fruit. The palate is soft and rounded, with sweet barley, ripe fruit, gentle spice and toasted oak. The finish is clean and moderately long, with malt, vanilla and a little oak spice.
