This is a single cask Kuju bottled by ePower at 60% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2022 and bottled in 2026, after four years in a first fill bourbon barrel that previously held Wild Turkey.
The malt is heavily peated, at 50ppm, and the bottling pairs Kuju's own character with the richness of the first fill cask.
The nose combines vanilla and marron glacé with smoked bacon, campfire ashes and a quiet minerality. The palate is dense smoke and rich sweetness, with ginger spice, jasmine and a little saltiness, ending in dry tannins. The finish is long, smoky and dry.
