Kura 8 Year Old White Oak is a Japanese whisky from the Helios Distillery in Okinawa, aged for eight years in white oak barrels.
The character is soft and creamy, with tropical notes. The nose brings vanilla, light coconut, honey and floral notes. On the palate there is soft, sweet wood, white chocolate and fruit, including pear and a little mango. The finish is medium to long and warm, balancing wood and sweetness.
