Kura The Whisky Pure Malt is a blended malt whisky from Helios Distillery in Okinawa, Japan, bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The nose brings heather honey, citrus, floral notes, toasted oak and light vanilla. On the palate it is creamy, with malt, butterscotch, vanilla, brown sugar and citrus.
The finish carries caramel and tropical fruit, ending slightly dry with a refreshing oak character. It can be taken neat, over ice or in a Japanese-style highball.
