Kura The Whisky Rum Cask Finish is a Japanese blended malt from Helios Distillery in Okinawa, the southernmost part of the Japanese archipelago. Helios was established in 1961 and is known for awamori and rum, and this whisky is finished in casks that previously held rum. The notes run to mango, apple, blood orange and caramel, alongside toasted oak and soft malt, with hints of brown sugar, creamy citrus and gentle char.
