A blended malt from the Kurayoshi distillery of Matsui Shuzo in Tottori Prefecture, Japan, bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It is composed of whisky matured for 18 years or more in American white oak bourbon casks, and reduced with naturally filtered groundwater from the Daisen mountains.
The nose brings grain and bread, lemon peel, rich malt and dried herbs. The palate has honey, sweet lemon, warm spice, dry straw, vanilla and nuts. The finish is soft, with creamy vanilla, a light touch of smoke and a fresh note of mint.
