Kurayoshi Pure Malt 18 Year Old is a blended malt from the Matsui distillery in Tottori, a coastal prefecture on southern Honshu. Matsui Breweries also makes sake and shochu. It was released in April 2016. The 18-year age statement drew attention in Japan, where small domestic whisky makers tend to age their whisky for far less time.
