This is a Japanese blended whisky from Kurayoshi's Tottori range, matured in ex-bourbon barrels and bottled at 43% ABV. It was made at the Matsui Distillery in the shadow of Mt Daisen, using the mountain's clear water.
The nose offers peaches in syrup, lemon peel, earthy smoke and vanilla. The palate has rich malt, warm smoke, caramelised fruit, white grapes and powdery icing sugar, which linger into the finish.
