KURIO Crimson Jam Tasmanian Blended Whisky (70cl, 40%)

KURIO Crimson Jam is a Tasmanian blended whisky from Lark, made by blending Tasmanian single malts in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. The blend is finished in Tasmanian cherry casks and casks that previously held sparkling wine. It is described as balancing jammy sweetness with a note of apple-wood smoke, and can be served neat, over ice, in a highball or in an Old Fashioned. The nose brings jammy red fruits, honeyed apricot, nutmeg and toasted oak. On the palate come Black Forest cake, caramelised figs and dark chocolate, with sweet cherry and baking spice. The finish is long, with cherry jam, custard and mocha.
