Kyrö Oloroso Malt Rye is a Finnish rye whisky finished in Oloroso sherry casks, in a 50cl bottle at 47.2%. The cask finish gives it a rich, mellow character and pairs sweet sherry with Finnish rye.
The nose is dried fruit, malty rye, caramel, sweet baking and peppery spice, with a note of dark chocolate hobnobs. On the palate come raisins, nuts, honey, mocha and fresh rye bread, sweet and savoury together.
