This is a single cask Aberlour from Speyside, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2024 after 15 years in an Oloroso sherry hogshead. It is number 14 in the Artist series from the independent bottler La Maison du Whisky, and 266 bottles were produced.
The nose is rich and heady, with incense, dark chocolate, blood orange, mango and dried apricot, followed by caraway, stem ginger, clove and hyacinth.
