Lagavulin 16 Year Old is a single malt from Islay, aged in oak casks for at least 16 years and sold in a 70cl bottle. Lagavulin is often called "the king of Islay".
It has the big peat-smoke flavour typical of southern Islay, together with richness and a dryness that give it added interest. It is regarded as a benchmark Islay dram.
