Lagavulin 8 Year Old is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle. Lagavulin is one of the island's best-known distilleries, and its whiskies are typically defined by heavy peat smoke balanced with a certain richness.
The 8 Year Old is generally a punchier, slightly younger expression of that house style. Expect bold peat smoke, iodine and brine, with sweeter notes of dried fruit or toffee underneath and a long, smoky finish.
