This is the 2022 release of the Lagavulin Distillers Edition, an annual single malt from the Islay distillery. It carries no age statement.
The whisky first matured in refill casks of American and European oak. It was then given a second maturation in Pedro Ximénez casks and in American oak casks fitted with heavily charred new heads.
The distillery bottled it at 43% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
