Lagavulin Distillers Edition 2022 is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky, released and bottled in 2022. It is double matured, with a secondary maturation in casks seasoned with Pedro Ximénez sherry. The sherry influence brings raisins, dried figs, treacle, dark chocolate and fruitcake. These sit alongside Lagavulin's bonfire smoke, seaweed, iodine and coastal salinity, giving a sweeter, richer take on the distillery's style.
