This is a limited edition Islay single malt from Lagavulin, released to mark the Islay Jazz Festival 2017. It was matured in a mix of refill American oak hogsheads and refill European oak butts. The refill casks add light oak, spice and gentle sweetness, leaving the spirit to lead with Lagavulin's peat smoke, maritime character and malty richness.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
