Langatun – Old Deer Cask Proof (50cl)

Langatun Old Deer is the distillery's classic single malt, here bottled at cask strength in a 50cl bottle. It is made from European malted barley and English stout yeast, which gives a fruity style with vegetal notes. The whisky is triple distilled and matured in sherry and chardonnay oak casks. Langatun was founded in 1986 by Jakob Baumberger, who took over a former brewery. His grandson, master distiller Hans Baumberger, produced the distillery's first single malt in 2007.
