This is an Islay single malt from Laphroaig, bottled at 48% in a one-litre bottle. It is the distillery's first PX cask finish and part of its Cask Collection. The whisky is matured three times over, in ex-bourbon barrels, quarter casks and Pedro Ximenez sherry butts. Laphroaig was founded in 1815 by the brothers Alex and Don Thomson. The character is fruity, with a ginger kick and the distillery's signature smoky aroma.
