Larceny Barrel Proof Batch A120 is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Heaven Hill, the first release in its barrel strength wheated line, which reached shelves in January 2020. It is bottled uncut and non-chill-filtered at 123.2 proof (61.6%) in a 750ml bottle. The mashbill is 68 percent corn, 20 percent wheat and 12 percent malted barley, with wheat taking the place of the rye found in most bourbons. The barrels were aged six to eight years in new American oak with a number three char, and were drawn from the upper floors of the rickhouses. In the batch code, the A marks the first batch of the year, the 1 stands for January and the 20 for 2020.
