Larceny Kentucky Straight Bourbon (70cl)

Larceny is a wheated Kentucky straight bourbon from Heaven Hill, the family distillery in Bardstown. It is named after John E. Fitzgerald, a treasury agent with a fondness for fine barrels. Wheat takes the place of rye as the second grain, and there is more of it than in most rival bourbons. This gives a softer, rounder and notably mellow style. It comes in a 70cl bottle. The nose offers warm brioche and fruity coffee, with cedar and a hint of coriander. On the palate come sweetcorn, molasses, malt loaf and gentle festive spice. The finish starts peppery, then softens as the coffee notes return, sweetly.
