Lark Chinotto Cask is a Tasmanian single malt from Lark Distillery, bottled at 44% in a 50cl bottle. It is a limited edition inspired by Chinotto, the Italian bittersweet citrus liqueur.
The whisky is Lark's single malt matured in ex-bourbon and sherry casks, then finished in casks seasoned with Chinotto liqueur.
The nose is candied orange peel, cola spice and dark chocolate. On the palate there is orange marmalade, caramel and cocoa over malt sweetness and oak spice, with a bittersweet tang from the finish. The finish is medium to long, with cola syrup, nutmeg and candied citrus peel.
