Lark Classic Cask is a Tasmanian single malt from Lark Distillery, bottled at 43% ABV in a 50cl bottle. It was crafted by Bill Lark, who is known as the 'Godfather of Australian Whisky'.
It is distilled in small copper pot stills from locally malted Tasmanian barley and matured in American oak casks that previously held sherry and bourbon. Each cask is handpicked and blended individually.
The nose brings fresh orange peel, toffee and vanilla custard with malted barley and oak spice. The palate is rich and velvety, with honey, butterscotch, dried fruit, apricot and nutmeg over malt and toasted oak. The finish is long and warming, with sweet malt, gentle spice and soft oak.
