Lark – Lunar New Year The Knotted Tree & Golden Lark Single Malt Australian Whisky (50cl)

A Tasmanian single malt from Lark, released for Lunar New Year in a 50cl bottle. It was matured in small first-fill sherry and port casks. The label design is by the Chinese artist Menghui Huang. It shows the Knotted Tree rising from the Tasmanian landscape, hung with oranges, peonies and cherry blossoms, with a golden lark carrying a glowing lantern overhead. The nose has nutmeg, pomegranate, delicate smoke and praline. The palate is silky, with chocolate, ripe stone fruits and warm sherry depth, and the finish brings dates and toasted pecan.
