Lark – Year of the Dragon Limited Edition (50cl, 46.8%)

Lark Year of the Dragon is a limited Tasmanian release, the first Lunar New Year edition the distillery has made. It marks the beginning of the Year of the Wood Dragon, and wood is the theme that runs through it. Lark worked with the artists Yao and Susu of Shenzhen's 1983 on the project. Master Blender Chris Thomson aimed for a rich, viscous whisky with a confident palate. It is bottled at 46.8% ABV in a 50cl bottle, with an outturn of 4,488 bottles. The nose offers toffee apple and custard with fresh citrus and floral oak. On the palate come dried figs, stewed fruits, rich malt, plum pudding and red berries, and the finish is rich and warming with creamy caramel.
