Winter Solstice 3 is a small-batch special release single malt from Launceston Distillery in Tasmania, bottled at 40% in a 50cl bottle. It is a tribute to the winter solstice festival and the frost-laced mornings and fireside gatherings of a Tasmanian winter.
The flavours are toasted oak and burnt toffee, with spiced orange peel, vanilla bean and a touch of smoked spice. The finish brings sea air and mineral salt.
