Super Wheater 2024 is a blend of straight whiskeys from Laws Whiskey House, bottled at 60.8% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It marries barrels of Laws Four Grain Bourbon with 100% Centennial Wheat Whiskey, and it is the 2024 release in the Origins Series.
The barrels used are between 5 and 12 years old, and the wheat character comes from Colorado-grown grain.
On the nose it offers shortbread, almond and orange marmalade. The palate brings peanut brittle, glazed lemon cake, orange pekoe tea and lightly roasted coffee. It begins sweet, then turns drier and spicier, ending in a long finish.
